FAQs About IV Infusions & Injections
ivclub uses the highest quality medical supplies, and employs trained medical professionals to deliver the best possible experience. Due to these factors, costs can add up.
No. Most major healthcare coverage will not reimburse for elective IV infusion or services. We are able to accept flex spending debit cards, although we recommend having another form of payment in case of denial.
The average time for an infusion is around 45 minutes. However, depending on the size of the IV that is able to be placed, the infusion could take as little as 30 minutes, or as long as an hour.
Oral supplements are a convenient way to provide your body with a variety of nutrients, however some critical ingredients, or their effective doses (such as B12, Magnesium, Vitamin C, and other electrolytes) are unable to be absorbed effectively through oral delivery. The levels of nutrients often found in IV nutrient formulas, if administered orally, would cause loose stools and upset stomach. Intravenous administration provides 100% bioavailabilty of nutrients to your body without irritating the digestive system. The recommended daily allowances on vitamins by the FDA are designed to prevent disease, not promote optimal health.
Ingredients for each injection and infusion are listed within the descriptions. Hover over a specific infusion or injection to see the types of vitamins and minerals that are included.
*All ingredients in our vitamins and minerals are ordered (when possible) as preservative free, plant and fruit based. All medical supplies and infusions are medical-grade and ordered directly through certified pharmacies and medical supply vendors.
We only employ highly trained registered nurses who are extremely talented in IV placements.
Anyone in good health who is 18 or older! We want everyone to experience the benefits that come with IV infusion. For combating jet lag, hangovers, minor colds & flu or athletic preparation/recovery, getting an IV is a great choice. When you receive our services, you are choosing to represent yourself as someone who is in good health and without any medical condition that would exclude you from this type of service.
As always, we reserve the right to defer treatment to individuals with health concerns.
While our medical director is a blast to hangout with, our treatments are elective, so it’s not a requirement to have a doctor’s note prior to any services. ivclub is a non-medical, elective service that requires signing a waiver of liability prior to receiving infusion. That being said, if you have health related questions or concerns it is your responsibility to consult with your primary care provider. Although we have trained medical staff, including registered nurses, they are unable to answer or consult with you on any medical questions or concerns.
