To make it easier, we offer the option of having two nurses pierce both ears simultaneously, so the experience is quick and comfortable. Additionally, iv&co is intentionally set up as a tranquil spa-like atmosphere to foster relaxation for all of our clients. We go the extra mile to ensure as calm an experience as possible. (We can even offer your child a warm or weighted blanket)
9. Is the procedure painful?
Everyone’s pain tolerance is different, but the Studex system is designed for minimal discomfort. Most clients describe the sensation as a quick pinch that passes quickly. Additionally we offer an advanced numbing cream prior to the piercing to ensure as comfortable an experience as possible.
10. How long does it take for the piercing to heal?
Typically, ear piercings heal within 6-8 weeks with proper aftercare. We recommend following the provided aftercare instructions to ensure your piercing heals safely and smoothly.
11. Can I bring my own earrings?
For initial piercings, we require using our approved, sterile earrings to ensure safety and prevent any potential complications. After the healing period, you’re free to switch to your preferred earrings.
